Reset

Rest.

Have you noticed that the world has slowed down? Personally, I welcome it. Personally, I needed it. In a world that’s constantly going, going, going…(gone?) I believe that we have forgotten how to rest. I know I have. I also believe we have forgotten how to truly appreciate the people and things around us. The blessings. The provisions. The love.

Reset.

In a way, our world has more than changed. It’s been reset. Can you find rest in this reset? To reset means to let go. Let go of your past so that God can show up in your present and future.

CHALLENGE.

Can you find peace in this time of rest and reset? No matter the circumstances can you worship joyfully and be thankful? Scripture tells us to rejoice always. Read these verses from Philippians over and over as if your life depended on it. Seriously. Your life depends on it.

“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:4-8.
