Suffering Produces Results

Bring on the suffering! Accept it. Choose it. Is this the posture of your heart?

Hebrews 5:8 says, “8 Son (Jesus, our High Priest. Our representative & mediator) though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered.”

Jesus, our High Priest, chose to learn obedience through suffering. Why would we expect to learn in any other way?

As you suffer, struggle, and scuffle your way through this life, allow God to use it to train you, equip you, and help you learn obedience. Jesus is our perfect example. He chose suffering because He knew the end result (Romans 12:1-2).

Let’s echo Paul’s words “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us” (Romans 8:18).
